Endoscopy (Scoping)

Endoscopy is a procedure where a flexible tube called an endoscope is used to visualize the inside of a patients stomach, small intestines, colon, nasal passages, trachea, and lungs. It is a non-invasive way of seeing exactly what is happening inside your pet, and of obtaining biopsies for examination, avoiding the need for more invasive surgery.  Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and lymphoma are two common conditions that require endoscopy for diagnosis.

We can book endoscopic procedures with a board certified internal medicine specialist, who will perform all necessary procedures right here in our hospital.
